Brenda and Anthony will discuss issues surrounding sideline behavior, how to “Elevate Respect,” bring more positivity to games, to better understand referees’ experiences and improve youth soccer for all stakeholders.
Brenda Hilton is the Founder and CEO of Officially Human whose mission is to restore respect to game officials and recognize them as authorities on the fields. According to a recent survey, the biggest reason that officials quit is because of verbal abuse by parents, and 59% of officials feel disrespected by parents.
