About
Our youngest soccer programs focus on physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development through fun games and activities in a relaxed environment. Players learn to love the game of soccer and make lasting friendships on and off the field. We will support younger children with their soccer development and promotion to our Junior Academy teams when they are ready (typically in May each year).
- Rising Stars is Club programming targeted at three age groups (U6, U7, U8) only.
- Children born in 2019, 2018, 2017 (for soccer year 2024-2025)
Registration and Fees
Fees for Rising Stars
- $250 Full Year (can be paid in two installments $150/$100)
- $150 Spring Only
This includes (for each player)
- Game Jersey and Training T-Shirt
- Participation Medal each Spring
- Player and Team (digital) photographs each Spring
Rising Stars Format (U6, U7, U8)
Minimum one training session per week (emphasis on technical skills) plus games (Saturday).
We will offer 2 training locations/days every week and each family can select which is most convenient. Players can attend more than one if desired. This also helps to offer cover/alternative in case of weather cancellations.
Locations include Mt. Pleasant and Cainhoy.
All sessions led by professional, licensed coach (minimum National D License) working under the direction of our Technical Directors
8 week training schedule to include five core elements/skills
- Basic Foot Skills
- Basic Passing
- Tackling and Pressure
- Control and Turning
- Shooting
4 v 4 format with no goalkeepers on small sided fields (30×20 yards with 6×4 feet goals)
Players will be expected to supply a size 4 ball, soccer cleats, and shin guards
Limited participation to ensure highest level training and attention
Opportunity for stronger and older children to participate in Junior Academy programming (in-season) by invitation at no extra cost
